Duty Man - William McIntyre

A gripping Scottish legal thriller featuring a reluctant defence lawyer, a high-profile assassination, and a case that reaches back into a deadly past. Do your duty and leave the rest to Heaven. A respected lawyer is gunned down in the quiet town of Linlithgow, the first assassination there in five centuries. For defence lawyer Robbie Munro, it’s personal. The victim was his childhood friend. Duty says Robbie must defend the accused. Loyalty tells him to walk away. But as Robbie digs, he uncovers a link to the long-forgotten murder of a High Court judge. And the deeper he goes, the further the evidence drifts from the truth. If Robbie’s right, doing his duty could free a killer… or save an innocent man from spending the rest of his life behind bars. Duty Man is Book 2 in the Robbie Munro Legal Thriller series. Perfect for readers who love John Grisham, Scott Turow, and Michael Connelly. ___________________________________________________________________Praise for the Best Defence Series: ? ? ? ? ?
