Every Good Endeavour - Timothy Keller

'An excellent read, especially for those who are looking at what exactly God had in mind when he called us to spend such a huge percentage of our lives in work.' Reader review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HOW CAN I RECONCILE MY PROFESSIONAL LIFE WITH MY SPIRITUAL ASPIRATIONS? In this clear presentation of the theology of work, pastor and New York Times bestselling author Timothy Keller invites us to live our calling to follow Christ in the workplace. From Keller's deep biblical knowledge and experience with both young professionals and senior leaders comes a series of practical advice to use the Gospel as a 'new compass' to navigate our professional lives. Starting with the premise that work preceded the Fall and thus grants dignity to human nature, Keller demonstrates that we can serve others through our professional efforts. Better even, he shows how excellence, integrity, discipline, creativity, and passion can be considered acts of worship. The perfect book for those who struggle to feel connected to God and find meaning in their work life. 'There are some books that need to be read at least once a year. This is one of them.' Reader review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 'An antidote to my workaholism and an answer to so many young people's unanswered questions about the fruitlessness of work today. Every page of this book slapped me across the face with truth. Dramatically changed my relationship with work.' Goodreads reader review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 'This is a must have book for anyone wrestling with reconciling their commitment and service to God and humanity, with a calling and commitment to business, professional or public service of any kind.'
