What's the Time, Mr Wolfdog? - Stephen J. Willis

On a snowbound Christmas night, Tim Connery believes he is alone. Cut off in his remote woodland home by deep snow and repeated power failures, Tim is already struggling with the collapse of his family life when a frightened, bloodied dog appears at his door. Soon, other dogs gather in the darkness outside - hungry, hostile and increasingly dangerous. Then comes the wolfdog. Trapped inside his workshop with only his wits, his tools and an unlikely canine companion, Tim must survive a night of escalating terror. But the danger outside is only part of the battle. As the pack closes in, long-buried memories, guilt and betrayal begin to surface, forcing him to confront the choices that have shaped his life. Part psychological chiller, part survival thriller, What's the Time, Mr Wolfdog? is a dark and gripping novel of fear, endurance and moral consequence - where the line between man and beast begins to blur, and survival may demand more than Tim is willing to give.
