A themed storybook about children's emotions by CBeebies TV presenter, Gemma Hunt to encourage young children to overcome jealousy and anger, bring joy, find peace, and learn to persevere through imitative behaviour. "I'm CONFUSED and my laces are all in a knot. Maybe I should just hide them or lose them . . ." "AARGH! There's too much noise going on!"Explore how to manage strong feelings and emotions with young children. Children can struggle to understand and express their emotions and feelings. This picture book, containing five different stories, helps them to relate to the children's experiences in the book and then see how best to deal with these feelings. They will also know that whatever they are experiencing and going through, they are loved and valued. Each of Gemma Hunt's lively and engaging stories sets up a true-to-life scenario, followed by a modern retelling of a Bible story and a good example by an adult, and ends with the children in the story learning from this. This engaging picture book is perfect for end-of-the-day reading time with children, providing support, encouragement, and reassuring words. The stories are inspired by the following Bible stories: The parable of the lost coin (Keep trying), Jesus speaks about judging others (Feeling cross), the angel Gabriel visiting Mary (Bring joy), Jesus calms the storm (Finding peace), and the parable of the prodigal son (Feeling jealous). Gemma Hunt's See! Let's Be series encourages young children to understand how to act and behave in everyday situations through observing good examples by adults and inspired by Bible stories. See! These fun and lively stories show this in action through Bible stories retold in an everyday context with real-life good examples from adults. Let's be. . . Just like the children in the stories, children aged 3-6 years will want to imitate the behaviour and give it a go themselves in their own situations. Also in the series is Gemma Hunt's See! Let's Be a Good Friend about the values of friendship. As well as being a TV presenter and children's entertainer, Gemma Hunt is also one of the hosts of Alpha and Songs of Praise.
