Toby and the Tricky Things - Lou Peacock

Toby is a Big Boy now, but sometimes even when you're big the tricky things are still a bit tricky . . . Toby is no longer a little elephant. He's a Big Boy, much bigger than baby sister Iris. He can pour his own milk, read his own bedtime stories, and even reach the snacks high on the "just for mummies" shelf. But some things are still very tricky even when you're big. And when Mummy is too busy with Iris to help him, Toby ends up with bad buttons, wrong wellies and loo paper everywhere! Then Toby gets very cross . . . A touching tale about learning to be an older brother, brought to life by Christine Pym's beautifully soft artwork. This charming, relatable story captures the difficulties of growing up and learning to be independent when some things are still hard to do. It's the perfect book for little children learning to share their parents' attention with new siblings - and has a heart-warming ending that the whole family will love.
