Best Defence - William McIntyre

A high-profile legal thriller of a celebrity murder trial, ever changing evidence, and a defence built on unreliable testimony. Honesty is the best policy. It’s not always the best defence. When the wife of a football superstar is charged with murder, Robbie Munro is hired to defend her. There’s just one problem. Her story keeps changing. As the evidence mounts, every new detail makes things worse. What should be a clear defence turns into a shifting narrative that Robbie can’t fully trust. At the same time, his brother Malky lands in trouble of his own, dragging Robbie into a very public fight to save his career. Two clients. Two crises. Both convinced they know best. But in court, there’s only one strategy that matters. And Robbie’s the one who has to choose it. Best Defence is Book 12 in the Robbie Munro Legal Thriller series. Perfect for readers who love John Grisham, Scott Turow, and Michael Connelly. ___________________________________________________________________Praise for the Best Defence Series: ? ? ? ? ?
