Present Tense - William McIntyre

A tense Scottish legal thriller featuring a struggling defence lawyer, a mysterious package, and a decision that could change everything. Some jobs are not worth taking. This one might cost him everything. Robbie Munro is back where he started. Living with his father. Raising the daughter he never knew he had. Watching his legal career slip through his fingers. So, when a dubious client offers easy money to store a sealed box, Robbie says yes. No questions. No complications. Just hold onto it. Until he discovers what’s inside. What looked like a simple favour drags him into something far more dangerous than any case he’s handled before. And this time, there’s no courtroom to hide behind. Because protecting the box means protecting the truth. And someone will do anything to make sure it never sees daylight. Present Tense is Book 7 in the Robbie Munro Legal Thriller series. Perfect for readers who love John Grisham, Scott Turow, and Michael Connelly. ___________________________________________________________________Praise for the Best Defence Series: ? ? ? ? ?
