Cake From Lucie - lucie franc de ferriere

Cake From Lucie is a collection of inventive, French-inspired desserts from Lucie Franc de Ferriere, the founder of beloved New York bakery From Lucie, known for its whimsical cakes adorned with fresh flowers. Born and raised in Southern France, Lucie grew up baking alongside her mother at their family’s farmhouse before moving to New York and opening her own bakery. In this beautiful book, she invites home bakers to recreate her signature style – elegant yet gorgeously imperfect cakes and bakes that are lighter, less sweet, and full of surprising flavour pairings. From a layered Chamomile Cake with Whipped Cream and Strawberry Sumac Jam to a rustic Blueberry Fennel Loaf, Zucchini Honey Mascarpone Cake and Salted Dark Chocolate Chip Cookies, each recipe captures both the charm of the French countryside and the creative buzz of New York City. With evocative photography and stories woven throughout, Cake from Lucie celebrates the art of baking with beauty, simplicity and heart. Lucie's loyal fans also know her from her cult Instagram @fromlucienyc, where she's amassed a large following of 164k followers.
