The Beatles in Canada - Piers Hemmingsen

The Beatles In Canada; The Evolution 1964-1970 (the BLUE book) is now the second volume in The Beatles In Canada book series, and picks up the Canada Beatles story where The Origins of Beatlemania! (the RED book) left off. The Evolution 1964-1970 documents in detail The Beatles' concerts in Canada, the pictures, the interviews, the newspaper, radio and TV press coverage, along with all of their popular Canadian record releases, along with contemporary record reviews, manufacturing history and sales figures. And much more. Inside The Evolution 1964-1970 are the original stories from the fans - across Canada from coast to coast - and the incredible stories told by the music business pioneers who helped create a cultural phenomenon. John and Yoko's three historic 'Peace' visits to Canada while John was still a Beatle, are documented in detail. By 1970, The Beatles had 'changed the world' ... and The Evolution 1964-1970 is the definitive account of exactly how Canada had played its part in all of that.
