Haakon the Good - Ole Asli

A Viking historical adventure of faith, power, and a king torn between two worlds. A prince raised in peace. A kingdom forged in war. Haakon, the youngest son of King Harald Fairhair, is sent to the court of King Aethelstan—far from Norway, far from the life he was born into. In a foreign land, he grows into a skilled warrior, a sharp diplomat, and something rare among Viking kings. A Christian. But when news reaches him of his father’s death, Haakon is forced to return home—and face the brother who now rules in blood. Norway is no longer a place for mercy. To claim the throne, Haakon must win over chieftains who distrust him, stand against invading forces, and survive a land where his faith is seen as weakness. To rule, he must choose who he truly is. A king of peace. Or a king of war. Haakon the Good is a fast-paced Viking adventure filled with brutal battles, political intrigue, and a powerful clash of faith and tradition—perfect for readers of Bernard Cornwell, Peter Gibbons, and Tim Hodkinson. ___________________________________________________________________Praise for the Vikings Of Norway Series:? ? ? ? ?
