Sweet Dreams - Baxter Nicola

This title includes soothing stories for peaceful bedtimes. This is a delightful collection of over 30 stories that have been specially written with peaceful bedtimes in mind. Charming and beautiful illustrations accompany every story, and there is a special sparkling finish to the cover. Each story gently address many of the causes of anxiety or excitement in a child's world such as monsters under the bed, missing friends, thunderstorms, and quarrels and crossness. This collection of stories to share at bedtime has been specifically designed to encourage sweet dreams and peaceful nights. The short, thoughtful tales help to put the excitements or upsets of the day gently to rest, leaving children soothed and ready for sleep. An index of themes makes it easy to choose the perfect story to end each day. The grown-up can select a tale that addresses night-time fears, or schoolday worries, or concerns about a new sibling - or a story on a favourite theme such as princesses or pirates. Each story is written to be just short (or long) enough, and the magical illustrations throughout will enchant and calm.
