Our Brave Hearts - Jacqueline Kelly

Honest reflections and support for navigating the realities of modern motherhood.  Modern motherhood is fraught with contradictions that make it so difficult to navigate. Balancing out your fierce and all-consuming love with the desire to just be left in peace for a few minutes, juggling the pressure to put someone else’s needs first with the sense that you’re losing your grasp of the person you once were; it’s easy to feel confused, angry and even lost. Certified life coach and matrescence psychotherapist, Jacqueline Kelly, knows how you feel and knows how to help. Her honest, compassionate writing is a soothing balm to anyone going through the heady cocktail of confusion, joy, rage and adoration that is new motherhood. In Our Brave Hearts, you’ll find: Reflective essays that explore identity, strength and resilience. Gentle prompts and affirmations to help mothers reconnect with themselves. Beautiful illustrations by Rosie Lovelock that bring warmth and calm to every page. Suggestions for practical resources to help with mental health and self-care. This book is both a companion and a guide, offering recognition and reassurance for mothers who feel overwhelmed by expectations. Whether you’re buying for yourself or gifting to a new mother, Our Brave Hearts provides clarity, comfort and confidence at one of life’s most transformative stages.Â
