No Escape - Carolyn Mahony

NO ESCAPE: A pacy, devour-at-one-sitting mystery… Juliet Sanders discovers a secret that rocks her world. Her only mistake? Running away from it. Now she’s in hospital in a coma, trapped in her head with her thoughts. But as her memory returns, so does her terror, because she knows it’s not over. When DI Harry Briscombe is called in to investigate the stabbing of a young girl in the street, all he knows is that she has recently given birth. Who is she, where is her baby and what is her connection to the mysterious cult, The Brethren of Serenity? As the tension mounts, so does the body count and Harry knows he needs to act fast to stop a ruthless killer. But will he be too late to protect Juliet from the danger she faces? The pressure he feels is enormous, especially when he realises that the secret he’s about to expose will destroy so many other lives.  If you like Patricia Gibney's Lottie Parker, LJ Ross's DCI Ryan and Rachel Abbott's Tom Douglas, then you won't be able to put down the compulsively addictive Harry Briscombe series. "Really good who-done-it, descriptive writing that leaves you on the edge of your seat" -- Amazon Reviewer. This is the 3rd full length novel in the series, featuring Harry Briscombe, but each one can be read as a stand-alone story.
