Girl A - Anonymous

The truth about the Rochdale sex ring by the victim who ended their reign of terror. This is the shocking true story of how a young girl from Rochdale became the victim of one of Britain's most notorious paedophile rings. Girl A was just 14 when she became prey for a sinister group of ten Asian men. They lured her into their circle with gifts before plying her with alcohol and then systematically abusing her day in day out. Once she was in, there was no way out. She was just one of up to 50 young girls to be 'passed around' by the gang. The girls were all under 16 and some were forced to have sex with as many as 20 men in one night. But then when a chance encounter with the police allowed Girl A to finally blow the whistle, she did and brought the gang down. She courageously gave evidence in court using the pseudonym Girl A and her bravery was rewarded by seeing the men finally jailed. When details of the case emerged a nation was outraged and asked how these sickening events came to pass. And now, the girl at the very centre of the storm reveals the truth. This is the harrowing but ultimately inspiring story of Girl A in her own words.
