Why Him? Why Her? - Helen Fisher

If opposites attract but we’re told to find our perfect match, and everyone has a soul mate but there’ll always be more fish in the sea, then you might think that we should just all give up now?!Dr Helen Fisher gives us reason not to... 'Fisher’s prose is charming and engaging… In hands as skilled and sensitive as Fisher’s, scientific analysis of love only adds to its magic.' Scientific AmericanAre you looking for The One? Well, according to Dr Helen Fisher, biological anthropologist and relationship expert, you don’t have to look any further for the way to find that special someone than your very own brain chemistry. With 35 years of research and over 40,000 test cases Fisher has found a way to scientifically understand why people partner better with some and cause chaos with others. She breaks it down into four personality types: explorers, negotiators, directors and builders, demonstrating how different pairings of these four can all work but each will do so differently and some will work far better than others. With her rigorous and fun personality test you can discover your own personality type and start recognising others. It won’t give you a name and address but it will teach you something about yourself and the ones you (will) love.
