Mrs Owl’s Forest School: The Very Big Den - Symons Ruth

SHORTLISTED FOR THE TEACH FIRST EARLY YEARS AWARDS 2023: PICTURE BOOK CATEGORYDeep in the woods, beneath the trees, the animals are gathering. It's time for Mrs Owl's Forest School. Join Mouse, Squirrel, Fox and Rabbit for a little forest school adventure. Out in the woods, they can learn about wildlife, try something new, get creative and - of course - make friends! And today they are learning how to build a very big den. This book will have little ones itching to get outdoors and having adventures of their own. Embracing the Forest School focus on play and exploration - and written in consultation with an expert consultant - this series will appeal to readers whether or not they've been to Forest School. Seb Braun (illustrator of Spinderella by Julia Donaldson) creates charming, detailed scenes that perfectly blend together picture book storytelling with non-fiction details. In his spare time, Seb volunteers as a Cubs and Squirrels leader (part of the Scouts movement), and his love and knowledge of the outdoors shines through on every page. Perfect for 3-6 year olds.
