The relationship between magic and food is long-standing and celebrated here along with the connection to nature. The recipes included are all designed to be changed or modified to fit different needs, tastes and intuitions with the author and kitchen witch Carla Torrents encouraging users of the deck to get it messy - the robust cards and box can withstand the heat and spills of a busy kitchen countertop! The accompanying booklet provides excellent tips and tricks, as well as practical information about weight conversions between imperial and metric measurements, and introduces the Wheel of the Year. Internationally minded, the dates of festivals and Sabbats are given for both northern and southern hemisphere witches so everyone can start making magic in the kitchen.
